The jury took the weekend from hearing witnesses in the trial that might determine the winner of the 2005 Greenwood mayoral election.
Circuit Judge Ann Hannaford Lamar, especially appointed to hear the case, let the jury go Friday afternoon and told them they would return Monday to continue the case.
