The Rev. Marlon Parker says he always knew he’d go into ministry.
When he was about 7, his pastor, the Rev. D.L. Pearson of New Foundation Missionary Baptist Church, asked him what he wanted to do with his life.
“I admired him for the way he carried himself and told him that I was going to be a preacher,” Parker said.
