Meth lab probe making progress

The Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics is making progress in arresting methamphetamine-manufacturing suspects, and it also is asking for the people's help in closing meth labs down.

Six or seven people are left on a list of 35 people in Leflore County targeted for alleged manufacturing of methamphetamines, said MBN Agent Amy Spencer.

Governor Musgrove will speak at WIN Jobs Center open house

Gov. Ronnie Musgrove will be in Greenwood Monday to promote the work of a state government office that now has a new name.

Musgrove will speak at 2 p.m. at the Greenwood office of the Mississippi Employment Security Commission. An open house will be held at the office beforehand.
