John C. Greer Jr. believes the Delta has great promise, and he wants to see it prosper.
Greer, the new executive director of the Mid-Delta Empowerment Zone Alliance, said the region has a combination of elements no one else can boast - cotton, catfish, soybeans, rivers and a history of contributions to American culture.
