The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has requested easements on two pieces of property along the Yazoo River owned by the Leflore County School District.
William Mayfield, representing the Corps of Engineers, said the Crops is asking for 5-year, temporary easements on a 19.48-acre tract of land and a 4.2-acre tract of land.
