Although they are required to adorn themselves in green and blue uniforms, the Ambassadors are not members of the military.
They do, however, serve businesses and the community as an extension of the Greenwood-Leflore County Chamber of Commerce. Plus, they started out with a leader who was affectionately known as "the general."
