Voters to fill 2 seats each on 2 school boards

In November’s general election, the Carroll County School District has two school board seats open, and two board seats must be filled for the soon-to-be-formed Greenwood-Leflore Consolidated School District.

Surgeon accused of falsely claiming credential

A Greenwood surgeon has been accused of falsely claiming he is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons, but Greenwood Leflore Hospital says the false credential resulted from a clerical error it committed more than a decade ago and was not the fault of Dr. Alain Domkam.

Firms discuss finances, service

With a crowd of around 200 citizens watching, the Greenwood Hospital Board conducted its regular business session on Tuesday night as usual.

Visitors and board members heard brief presentations from the two consulting firms hired this year to reduce costs, identify savings and improve relations at the hospital.
