This rare 20-star flag, which flew over the federal Capitol in 1818 and 1819, will be on display Feb. 8-9 at the Museum of the Mississippi Delta, along with the original state constitution, adopted in 1817. The event, along with others across the state throughout 2017, celebrates Mississippi’s bicentennial.
