A mentally disturbed woman who wanted to avoid commitment last week led Leflore County deputies on a vehicle chase and hit one of them with her car, causing minor injuries, before being apprehended, according to authorities.
“She was determined. She didn’t want to go to the hospital,” said Leflore County Sheriff Ricky Banks.
