Participants in Delta Wild, an ArtPlace Mississippi summer program, canoed and kayaked along Tippo Bayou last week in the Tallahatchie National Wildlife Refuge along Mississippi 8. Over the course of a week, students visited the Tallahatchie refuge and Malmaison National Wildlife Management Area north of Greenwood, and Matthews Brake, south of the city.
