Carroll County schools move up to C rating

Man accused of attempted murder, robbery

Itta Bena’s Board of Aldermen and City Clerk Edna Beverly clashed once again at Tuesday’s board meeting over the handling of utility bills by City Hall.

Mayor J.D. Brasel raised a concern about a customer he had witnessed being allowed to pay only a small portion of what she owed in utility bills.
