Former Leflore County District 4 Supervisor Wayne Self has lost his lawsuit challenging the results from the November election in which he was defeated by Eric Mitchell.

All absentee ballots were thrown out. They made up approximately 10.8% of the total.

Judge expects to toss 39+ ballots

A state judge hearing the lawsuit challenging former Leflore County Supervisor Wayne Self’s narrow defeat in the Nov. 5 general election has indicated that he anticipates throwing out at least 39 absentee ballots.
