JACKSON - The State College Board on Thursday asked the attorney general to ensure proper procedures are followed in the move by the University of Southern Mississippi to fire two tenured professors.
"The board of trustees is concerned about the unrest at USM," the board said in a statement issued after a lengthy closed door session.
