JACKSON - Terra Industries, a Sioux City, Iowa, fertilizer manufacturer, announced Monday it would buy Yazoo City-based Mississippi Chemical Corp. for $268 million.
Terra will pay $161 million in cash with the balance paid in stock shares, which were trading at $6.14 per share Monday.
