The unidentified body of a woman found lying in a ditch off U.S. 82 Monday had not been claimed this morning, Greenwood Chief Henry Purnell said.
“No one called,” said Purnell, adding that the department would widen its call for missing-person notices to the National Crime Information Center (NCIC).
