The Leflore County constable accused of assault by a member of Dr. Arnold Smith’s defense team has asked the Board of Supervisors to appoint him legal assistance.
Vonzell Self, who also serves as Itta Bena fire chief, made his request in a letter discussed at Monday’s meeting of the supervisors.
