Members of the 1st Battalion, 114th Field Artillery of the Mississippi National Guard were given a farewell sendoff at Immanuel Baptist Church in Grenada. The 304 men of the unit headed to Fort Dix, N.J., Sunday. Plans call for the unit to undergo 80 days of security force training at Fort Dix and then deploy to Afghanistan.
