Traffic moves slowly on the Hinman Bridge on the U.S. 82—49 bypass this morning. The bridge, built in 1955, is undergoing structural repairs to its overhead girders and trusses. The Mississippi Department of Transportation says the work, which is being done by Flame-On Inc. of Snohomish, Wash., is expected to last about a week.
