The Mississippi Highway Patrol responded to this one-vehicle accident on Mississippi 7 at around 1 a.m. Saturday. According to Warren Strain, spokesman for the state Department of Public Safety, the vehicle, a 2001 Toyota, left the roadway, hit an embankment and then a utility pole. The car contained a couple who have not been identified.
