JACKSON - Mississippi Democrats, faced with an almost impossible task of carrying the state in November's presidential race, are further plagued by Senate Democrats having blocked Judge Charles Pickering's Appeals Court appointment.
Particularly so, since both nominees on the Democratic ticket are members of the U. S. Senate.
