The Leflore County Juvenile Detention Center is asking for a 29 percent increase in funding for the 2007-2008 year.
Leflore County Court Judge Solomon Osborne, who oversees the center, has asked the Board of Supervisors to allocate $758,884 for the operation of the facility, $169,000 more than budgeted this past year.
