The city of Greenwood’s sales tax collections increased by 7% in August compared to the same month in 2020, Mayor Carolyn McAdams reported to the City Council Tuesday.
The collections amounted to $449,671, an increase of $30,612, she said, attributing the increase to Bikes, Blues & Bayous in early August.
