Merrel Wood’s in-laws, Charlene and Allen Wood Jr. of Greenwood, were talking about her Monday.
“She was fantastic, a real genuine Delta lady. She had elegance combined with a real fine sense of humor, and was a very, very compassionate and loving person for everybody,” her father-in-law said.
