Larry Griggs and Debra Hibbler look at voting totals that were posted at the Leflore County Courthouse while the election’s Resolution Board was calculating affidavit and absentee ballots Wednesday. According to final totals in the April 16 special election, Hibbler is the winner of the chancery clerk’s race with almost 54% of the vote. Griggs is the brother of Wayne Self, who lost the race for District 4 supervisor to incumbent Eric Mitchell. Mitchell finished with 51% of the vote to Self’s 49%.
