Kelly Roberts, Leflore County’s acting circuit clerk, has resigned from the position, which she assumed when there was a sudden vacancy late last fall.
Roberts was a deputy circuit clerk in early December when she stepped up to head the office following the untimely death of Circuit Clerk Elmus Stockstill on Nov. 29.
