Between Oct. 18 and Nov. 21, the Community Kitchen served 4,390 free meals.
"We estimate we have served more than 40,000 meals this year, and that is good," said Willie Hayes, vice president of Greenwood Interfaith Ministries' board of directors.
Interfaith opened the Kitchen at Christmas almost two years ago.
