Dazondria Curry held her hands about a foot apart to describe the length of a gun she saw police carrying as they left a vacant duplex across from Davis Elementary School.
Her sixth-grade class at the school looked out the window to watch, she said.
That occasion, she said, was the only time she saw a gun Thursday morning.
