Clarksdale attorney and musician Vince Montgomery, whose band the Gants achieved national celebrity in the mid-1960s with the hit song "Road Runner," died at his home Monday. He was 54.
A requiem Eucharist will be held for him at 5:45 p.m. Thursday at the Episcopal Church of the Nativity in Greenwood.
