Even though gasoline prices have dropped from their highs earlier this year, Greenwood drivers continue to pay more than the state average for a gallon of gas.
Cliff Thach, manager of the Greenwood branch of Scott Petroleum Corp., said the average price for a gallon of regular gasoline in Greenwood was around $1.39.
