JACKSON - The state Court of Appeals has upheld the dismissal of a post-conviction claim of Dwight Brown, who pleaded guilty to manslaughter in 2000 in the shooting death of a Humphreys County supervisor.
Robert Bankford, a 47-year-old restaurant owner and two-term supervisor, was killed in March 1999.
