JACKSON - The Mississippi Senate today voted against reviving one of the biggest issues of the 2007 legislative session - a plan to slash taxes on groceries and increase taxes on cigarettes.
The matter, though, could come up again Wednesday, according to Sen. David Jordan, D-Greenwood.
