Leflore County's unemployment rate improved in February, according to figures released Wednesday by the Mississippi Department of Employment Security.
Not only was the 9.9 percent figure better than January's 10.1 percent, but it was a significant improvement over the February figure a year ago, which was 11.8 percent.
