Greenwood may be in the running for a state civil rights museum, according to a Leflore County supervisor who testified before a committee of the Mississippi Legislative Black Caucus in Jackson Monday.
Leflore County Supervisor Robert Moore said the region’s ties to the movement run too deep to be ignored.
