Leflore County will join neighboring Carroll and Grenada counties in imposing a ban on outdoor burning.
Gary Fulgham, fire coordinator for Leflore County, said he will ask the Board of Supervisors Monday to impose a total burn ban in the county.
“We’re too dry,” he said this morning.
