JACKSON - As chief of staff for Gov.-elect Haley Barbour, former state Rep. Charlie Williams will be expected to work with the Legislature on the administration's programs.
Williams, 59, has served on the transition team for Barbour, who defeated Democratic Gov. Ronnie Musgrove in the November election.
