Watts drops out of Carroll Beat 4 race

Board approves budget, school tax hike

CARROLLTON — Only one citizen showed up Monday to question supervisors about the proposed 2012 budget before supervisors unanimously accepted it and an increase in the millage rate for the school district.

The total general fund budget for 2012 is just over $3.5 million, an increase of about $35,000 from the 2011 budget.
