FBI joins search for missing woman

CARROLLTON — The FBI has officially become involved in the search for Linda Reed of Carrollton, who is believed to have been abducted in Copiah County, according to her stepson, Chris Reed of Grenada.

Linda Reed was last seen Sunday night.

Chris Reed said the FBI officially entered the case on Thursday.

CARROLLTON — Like many World War II veterans, Eddie Jeter of Greenville still cries when he remembers his buddies dying near him.

Now 89, Jeter talked about his service in World War II service recently in Carrollton, where he regularly visits his daughter, Wanda Weathers.

CARROLLTON — A witness has come forward in the disappearance of Linda Reed of Carroll County who said he saw a white pickup truck backed up to her mobile home in Copiah County early Monday morning, according to Karen Reed of Grenada, Linda’s daughter-in-law.
