Attala Co. asks to put inmates in Carroll jail

CARROLLTON — The Attala County Board of Supervisors has asked the Carroll County board to consider accepting inmates from Attala County, since the jail where they are housed is considered inadequate and may be closed.

Carroll is one of four nearby counties that could be asked to take the inmates.
