The name has been chosen and the date has been set, so as far as the organizers for the Bikes, Blues and Bayous event are concerned, the race is on.
The first Bikes, Blues and Bayous bike race, an amateur event open to cyclists of all skill levels, will be held Aug. 23 in Greenwood.
