Being a magazine junkie is not bad at all

I have a confession to make. I’m a magazine junkie.

“People” magazine is probably my favorite – I’m not the “Newsweek” or “U.S. News and World Report” type of gal. Fully completing the crossword puzzle can really make my day.

Of course, my favorite magazines are the food ones.

Geography students make South American desserts for class

Speaking for Goodwill Industries proved to be rewarding

“Help – Spread Goodwill in Mississippi” was the party’s theme.

The Greenwood Commonwealth expanded its newsroom in 2025 by adding Gerard Edic as a reporter covering public safety and other stories of interest to the community.

His position is partially funded by a two-year grant from Report for America, a national nonprofit. Generous supporters in the community donated the matching funds in the first year. We are now raising funds for Year 2.
