We are entering the holiday season when we often need a special dessert.
I can’t think of a more perfect dessert than a beautiful layer cake. It is always easier to bake the cake in a 9-by-13-inch pan and add frosting, but a layer cake is so much more pleasing to the eye, as well as moist as it can be.
