When Christmas is over, take decorations down

Sometimes I think I need to play Barney Fife and get a badge,and blue light so I can make a citizen’s arrest. I’m talking about people who leave their Christmas decorations and tree up way too long.

Now I know I shouldn’t judge, but after Christmas is over, it is over, and we’ve just got to let those decorations go.

Some recipes for celebration of National Bacon Day

The Greenwood Commonwealth expanded its newsroom in 2025 by adding Gerard Edic as a reporter covering public safety and other stories of interest to the community.

His position is partially funded by a two-year grant from Report for America, a national nonprofit. Generous supporters in the community donated the matching funds in the first year. We are now raising funds for Year 2.
