Greenwood's first-ever River to the Rails street festival brought 800 to 1,000 people to downtown Greenwood Saturday, and organizers were pleased.
"I think it was very successful for being the first year. We weren't really sure what to expect, so we were pleased with the results," said Cindy Tyler, co-chairman of the event.
