Moss and Shannon Melton of Greenwood submitted a clip of their daughter, Ainsley, to “America’s Funniest Home Videos” as a lark.

But now all of the United States will get a chance to laugh as a little girl with flowers in her hair is terrified by a train horn.

Challenger criticizes senator for not attending Oct. 18 debate

A state Senate candidate from Greenwood is upset his opponent, incumbent David Jordan, isn’t attending a debate, but Jordan said he has a prior commitment.

Rogrick Wardell said Jordan “needs to show” at an Oct. 18 debate hosted by the Greenwood Community League at the Leflore County Civic Center.
