Prep Roundup: GHS volleyball team wins 11th of season

The Greenwood High School girls volleyball team captured its 11th win of the season with a three-set victory over Gentry High School Thursday.
The Lady Bulldogs (11-6) won the sets 25-7, 25-10 and 25-8. The junior varsity team beat Gentry 2-0 as it won the sets 25-17 and 25-18.

The Greenwood Commonwealth expanded its newsroom in 2025 by adding Gerard Edic as a reporter covering public safety and other stories of interest to the community.

His position is partially funded by a two-year grant from Report for America, a national nonprofit. Generous supporters in the community donated the matching funds in the first year. We are now raising funds for Year 2.
