Larry “Kite” Johnson isn’t responding to allegations that he beat a special-needs student at Quitman County Middle School in Marks.
The former Leflore County supervisor, who is also an area businessman and director of the Greenwood Recreation Center, had served as a science teacher at the school but left the district last week.
