The Leflore County Civic Center will be open tonight to serve as a warm place to sleep for anyone without heat or shelter during near-record-low temperatures.
“If it’s too cold for you to be where you are, the Civic Center is available,” said Troy Brown, director of the Greenwood-Leflore Emergency Management Agency.
