Legislation to allow the city of Greenwood to donate its 26 Katrina cottages for use as low-income housing is on its way to Gov. Phil Bryant to be signed into law.
The bill passed the House, 120-2, but was held over the weekend for further debate after Rep. Willie Perkins, D-Greenwood, filed a motion to reconsider.
