Several charges in Holmes County against Greenwood activist and political candidate Jelani Barr were dismissed in justice court in Lexington.
Barr, 30, was arrested by the Mississippi Highway Patrol on March 16 and charged with speeding, disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and disturbing the peace.
