Donna Tartt, the winner of this year’s Pulitzer Prize for fiction for her bestselling novel “The Goldfinch,” has deep connections to Mississippi.
Tartt was born in Greenwood in 1963 but quickly relocated to Grenada, where she grew up before attending the University of Mississippi in Oxford.
